IEA -Annual Conference         

 

Formerly known as the Professional Administrators and Executive Assistants Annual conference, the Institute of Executive Assistants (IEA) Africa Annual Conference is a brilliant opportunity for Executive Assistants and Administrative Professionals to connect and unpack the transforming role of the modern PA. Renowned professionals share insights into their day-to-day routines, to give hands-on tips on getting tasks completed more efficiently. To build on their success and pave a meaningful corporate journey, delegates will understand how to handle different personalities, overcome stress, and become more resilient. Delegates will also experience what a personal brand is and improve their professional relationship with their executives and other employees in the organization. The will also feature valuable strategies, techniques, and tips to enhance the effectiveness of executive support functions.

 

This is usually a lakeshore networking conference held over a period of 2 to 3 days.

 

The 2022 IEA Annual Conference will be held at Sigelege Beach Resort in Salima on 26-28 October, 2022.

IEA – Networking Dinner

 

The IEA Networking Dinner and Dance is a free event for all paid up IEA-Africa Community members, it is held on the first night of the IEA Annual Conference. All delegates attend this on complimentary. It is more of a members’ appreciation dinner. Members may invite a partner or spouse to accompany them at a fee (communicated to all members at a date closer to the event). The 2022 Networking Dinner will be held on 28th October, at Sigelege Beach Resort from 6:30PM -10:30PM.

 

IEA -End of Year Awards

 

COMING IN 2022

 

The Institute of Executive Assistants (IEA)Africa will from 2022 host Admin Awards, in October every year, this is the only awards program dedicated to providing executives and coworkers with a powerful platform for recognizing the backbones of their organizations, executive administrative office professionals, in eight award categories. Winning an Admin Award is considered the Administrative Profession’s highest honor.

 

Executives and coworkers from various industry sectors will submit nominations through our website in support of their extraordinary Administrative Professionals (Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers – there are over 100 titles that reflect the Administrative profession). Nominations can be submitted in one or more of the eight award categories before the stated deadlines. There is no cost to nominate thanks to our Program Sponsors.

 

To be eligible for the Executive Assistant of the Year award, applicants should be able to demonstrate excellence in their role as an executive/personal assistant, executive/personal secretary or professional office administrator. Further eligibility requirements will be shared soon.

Business Breakfast Series

 

We understand that in today’s world of work people may not always find the time to attend full day training programs; we introduced business breakfast programs which include 2-4 hours of fast learning through presentations and panel discussions. These sessions let you gain fresh perspectives on timely topics; hear informative, inspiring speakers and relevant panel discussions; and network with others within the various professions. IEA-Africa Community hosts the Professional Administrators and Executive Assistants business breakfast/half days sessions every second month of the year.
